#6 and # 16
#6. DON’T FAKE IT! Keep your word. Become a count-on-able person. People are attracted to the truth, especially these digital days when everything is so transparent. If you speak the truth in your art, music, business, writing, etc. your fans and customers will follow you, support your mission and join your tribe. If you try to “hype” it you’ll lose them forever. contradicts #16. Make Up Your Own Prayer to who ever you call God—then say it every morning Instead of making up a prayer to whoever you call God, why not try to find out with all your heart and all your soul who God really is. You will not be disappointed!

The News
Yes. By all means turn of the news. It is a distraction and kills creativity. Avoid the poison that flows from people like Maddow, Schultz, Hartmann and Gooman.

DEMISE OF DOGMATIC ABSOLUTES
I just LOVE your number 16 Mr. Dolan!!!! Thank you. In my humble opinion that line alone carries within it an endless potential to fuel our collective search for a paradise earth; one world one people.

GUITARPLAYERS 4 PEACE
As a result of 50 years in music I have noticed the vast multitude of peace loving musicians and artist that inhabit our planet. All together we must be the, by far, largest army in the world equipped only with weapons of powerful words and music that touch our collective consciousness. Therefore in the name of GUITARPLAYERS 4 PEACE please make one small contribution toward world peace and understanding by including one unit of peace-promoting material in your next project. Thank you.

What a fabulous list... I am THRILLED to see #2- Turn Off the News- I have embraced that practice for a number of years now. It has been my experience that the Universe always lets me know what I need to know in some way or another. So... Thank- you and Happy Holidays to all.

Must Have News
I agree with Paula. Your list is brilliant and I will follow it to a tee. However I must watch the news! I feel if I don't I will be neglecting my responsibilities as a citizen to keep informed of the activities of those in Washington who represent me.

the list
Very good, though I take exception to ignoring the news. If you're talking the lame stream media yes, but I believe that we need to participate in our democracy & that means understanding the issues. Thom Hartmann, Amy Gooman, Rachel Maddow to name a few that will help educate.

Meditation works!
Thanks for a great list. Meditation is my favorite way to make life better. I've been meditating since 1986 and have evolved into a much more centered, clear, peaceful, and compassionate individual...and living my life as a witness or observer, not getting so attached to drama and negativity and more accepting of diversity. I watched an HBO special about George Harrison recently, and now know why he was my favorite Beatle. We lost a great inspiration far too early, but he was ready for the next stage of existence with no fear. He was an avid meditator.
