Your Tired Strategy (Read time 0:27)
It doesn’t have to be set in stone, it just has to be set in place. Not changing your strategy simply because you're used to the one you have is a crummy strategy. You may be able to "temporarily” get away with the same o’l worn out, antique strategy you’ve used before, but those days are waning…better said, your results will continue to decline. I think before you launch the new site, release the new record, publish the new book or pitch the next big project, be sure you have an intelligent, progressive strategy in place. Because if a solid plan defines the goal, a smart strategy provides the map to get there.

Spiritually Fed
A very wise person told me "your work can best be called a success if it helps others as well as yourself." Can't speak for everyone but for me, that rings true. Times they are a changin'... it used to be "The Father of Light will help you if you also help yourself." I believe now that our merciful and greatest, well wisher will help us if we just try to help ourselves. Because worldly influences are pulling on us harder than ever before to take our attention outward to the mundane and mediocre, making it difficult to go inward to the Stillness and Silence where all the great strategies, ideas and goals come from. I believe that it's by being still and silent that we hear the inner voice of ever new creativity.

the challenge
I have most of the key ingredients in place except the representation and investors part. That is the biggest challenge- getting people interested in putting time and money into your project. they will only jump on board after you've done all the leg work but that's exactly what you need THEM for! I continue to solicit help in this area but I'm still waiting for someone to take a chance on what I'm offering, something unique and viable. Until then I'm wearing all the hats.

strategy assumption
the assumption here is that there is a strategy at all. our a.d.h.d. band of heathens continues to put out strong product with what has become a unique sound in what i believe is a niche market. we have yet to define how to get the product to market. we have moved into an arena where we are embracing the tools to distribute this, but we really need to define a strategy and follow it. no different than any other product, certain basics still have to apply, including hard work, imagination, perseverance, and, yes, a strategy...

Tired & Board
Yes, I believe my own strategy has been on the board too long. How do I know? I am tired of it. AND it is getting me by but not really doing anything new or expansive. Thanks, Michael, for the wake up call.

Old Strategy
My strategy must be old because there is now a fallen tree on the path and I have to find a new route around it. Or has my destination changed? Mmmm. Food for thought.
