That Time’n Thang (Read time 0:57)
May not be you, or your work or your talent. Could just be that “timing” thing. If you launch, publish, release or ship too soon, you run the risk of no one understanding. If it’s too late, everyone is already on to the next thing. There’s nothing more frustrating than great art at the wrong time. Took Huey Lewis 17-years to become an overnight success. Took the Beatles nearly 10-years of performing before they first landed in the U.S.. Took Jay Z 15, Obama 20, Van Gough 200! Heck, it took me and my partner a good 10-years to get our company to a place where we could finally smile and take a breath—even take a limo once in a while!

timing is everything
speaking of music timing is indeed everything.. without rhythm you got nothin :-)music bloggers should know: if they'd had any talent they'd be playing instead of blogging.. ever notice how those who know nothing always think they know everything?

Funny You Mention It
After over a year of patiently looking and waiting for a new live work space, I just found my dream live work loft. It seemed like it fell into my lap, but I have to believe that this came as a result of all of my previous work, and trust.

I heard this from Deepok Chopra, "The past is history, the future a mystery, the present is a gift from above, that's why it's called the present. (Then I added) we give it to you with our peace and love." I think I'll call my next album THEE PRESENT. Maybe the cover pic will be a beautiful clock with a ribbon around it. Like a happy face with a bow tie. Michael I always get good "vibes" from your blogs. Thank you brother! If you're going to India again this year please let me know... Love to your family. mp

Perfect timing
I love these examples. It got me started looking at my own life...how I met my great husband at the perfect time in both of our lives. My past "jobs" just happened to be perfectly timed. My moves have turned out optimally. It goes on and on. And I am reminded that when these changes came, I never knew the timing was perfect until I looked back. This has renewed my Faith.

I have read that each of us is born at the perfect time and that God has a purpose for each individually in that Time and Space we're in. This has upped my belief in that. I'm taking a closer look at the "Time" I am in and how it relates to my "Art.". Thank you, J. Michael.
