A PETTY REMINDER (Read time 0:31)
I wrote this line in a story a while back and I'm constantly reminded that it's worth repeating:

PETTY REMINDER
PHOENIX HAS RISEN Tell Tom he can pick up his hat in the Soul Kitchen at the Crossroads. When the dinner bell starts to ring, he better run his lil' rump on over here!

Pettiness belongs in the trash.
Hang on to what's important to you,do it and believe in yourself. It is easier said than done to let go of all irritating people and situations ''like water off a duck's back''. Thanks for the reminder.

A PETTY REMINDER
Good morning! Yes. Pettiness can be an addiction. And we all are, or have been, 'guilty' of it. In my life, it's essential that I start my day with a spiritual ritual. I read 'sacred' literature, meditate, and pray. Whatever floats ones boat, I suppose... Yoga... as soon as it helps us reach a state of being, even just for a moment, that helps us put things in perspective, and remember that the ultimate reason we are here is to evolve by serving one another.... Thanks all!

No doubt about it. I have to make a quick mental list of the petty stuff and cast it into the crashing ocean. We are above the petty s**t and I ain't petting anything sweaty. :)

I am HOWLING!!!!!!!! Yes, you started me out with a laugh at George Carlin. Then a Truth that we canít get enuff of. What a great reminder to cut off the petty conversations, shut off the petty TV shows. Not hang out with petty Gossiping peeps. It goes on and on.

Petti work
Sometimes I find that I am addicted to my work. While my work is of course worthwhile, my wife reminds me that it is petty to immerse in work to the extreme that it can cost me my relationships with her and our kids. So even my art can be petty if I donít balance it out.
