Pizza Pie-za Partz-a 2-za
Anyway, we're batting zero for 3500! Those are some very piss-poor odds! And we're good..you be the judge: www.reverbnation.com/richpulinmusicalfamily So the tenacity behind promoting 'our pizza' named 'Rich Pulin Musical Family', (cheeseless, by the way!) is fierce..work ethics high, band excellent....what could the problem be? Could it be that the majority of those people aren't decision-makers? Hmm.....they look and sound important! I don't have the answer.... If I had some real money and heard Brooke sing, Bingo(!)she'd be signed with a tidily respectable stipend for signing! So, this is an ongoing pizza... Want a slice?

'Pizza-Pie-za'
Sherman Oaks & Naples aren't going to 'sneak' away 'sneakily' with a 'best pizza' award! (Although I still maintain a Sherman Oaks mailing address!) The Apple Baby! That's where its at..er uh (preceded duh) that's right, ya done heard right! Doesn't have the reputation of being the best for nothing! Oh..the magazine thing.. Check this out: On linked in, over the past 6-12 months, I've sent over 3500 messages to music industry types, mainly introducing my brilliant vocalist-daughter Brooke, our music/videos, and ourselves..we're a family band..you heard right, a FAMILY band..Grandpa & Gramma write and produce & daughter, grandson, gramps & grams do the singing..we're good, but haven't been able to get arrested..yet!

Anticipation
I hesitate using the above subject title, because unfortunately, I start to think of 'ketchup' instead of Carly Simon. But regardless, she was 100% correct. I don't need to post the lyrics here, since most people know them. The anticipation of something does keep people waiting.... especially if there is a buzz about it. People don't want to miss out on something good -- or perceived to be good when it eventually happens. We need to create that flurry of excitement.

To Serve (Pizza) is to Rule !!!
Michael, Thank you for sharing your wisdom from your real world experience. So very clear and well written. When you are excited about what you are creating, and know that it is going to make other people's lives better, happier, and more successful, and do this is in a way that is very clear to them that this will work for them, they too will be excited, show up, and buy what your are serving. Pizza for everyone!!!

Pizza Best
Oh Michael There is just not enough hours in a day for me. I am trying to reinvent myself with a ZydecoJazz fusion! I was born in Louisiana and now sing Jazz before I embraced the Zydeco sound, dance and culture from Louisiana. Each time I share my idea with people they think it is such a great idea and can't wait to hear my band!So much to do so little time!

Tease. Please
I think it is a given to tease your customers every time you have something new, a new season, a new anything. It would be crazy not to use tech.and your database at your disposal. Thanks for the reminder and thoughts of Pizza floating about. BTW, Michael, Audible.com informs me today that there is a new Gladwell book out: David & Goliath... that should be something to write about. I love the audio as it is read by Gladwell himself.

Hahaha. Best pizza. . . So subjective. You speak the truth, because you lived it, you are a 'horses mouth'. I remember those early days. We made it up as We went along. I still do. Three great pizzas mentioned just above. Yes, Barones! Truly. When Vitello's was just an unknown little nabe restaurant, they had exceptional pizza. And it was the least expensive thing on the menu. Real dough and hand cut ingredients.

Maybe not the best, but the only pizza in the world is in Naples, or region Campania if you want, Italy. And don't wait to be teased, don't dream it: go there and eat it! Bon appetit my friends.

Pre-cooked pizza
Great blog as usual Michael. The best pizza by far is Bucca Di Beppo!

surpass expectation
To create the "idea" of a product before "they" hold it in their hands. Steve Jobs was the master of this strategy and only succeeded because he never disappointed us. That's key: to "surpass expectation" when the product manifests. That earned reputation makes them salivate for what's next. Best pizza is Joe Peeps in Studio City.

I can Smell the Pizza!!!! Isn't it all SO TRUE that now we have the tech advantage of tantalizing our customers BEFORE. And don't our customers enjoy being teased? What a great point. We simply are OBLIGATED to tease! I am writing on a scrap paper glued to my Apple screen, "TEASE. BEFORE.". My new marketing plan. Best pizza: Jacopos in Pacific Palisades.
