The Field (Read time 0:37)
You’re an artist, an entrepreneur, which makes you different from the others—not better, just different. You have a special place (inside), a ‘field” that you can go to make stuff up, write a song, paint a picture, write a script, design a building, or conceive your next business strategy. It’s also the same place you can go to figure out how to make a buck...or a million of them.
“There is no place for grief in a house which honors the Muse.” ― Sappho

When Wayne Dyer was in deep contemplation of an answer he shouted out alone for help. In moments time Deepak Chopra called him up to assist and said, "I heard you in the field." Wayne was completely baffled.

I must realize I do need to rely/wait for others to get my job done , I cant do it all alone. I m recording again also, but I need the experts to do the graphics, art work etc...

I like the earthy idea of 'the field', Michael. More often than not I go into a 'sphere' where the normal time & space coordinates are no longer applicable. Inside the sphere is where I create, outside the sphere is where I 'do the work' (thanks for the link to that book by the way). Today, seeing as it is sunny, I'll take a walk in 'the field' & see what comes to mind. Always a pleasure. Thanks.

It is a tall order Michael. I am quaking in my boots at your inspired musings..would I rather be the bovine muse, munching among life's juicy meadows or in an arena getting my noggins bloodied...?

I love this vision of a creative “field.” Imagining this place, free of distraction and procrastination, gives me a real place to create. I can separate myself here from obstacles that invade my creative place. It is a gift that I recognize and can’t ignore. It is the cure for writers’ or artists’ block. I intend to go there regularly and I thank you for yet another Inspiration.

What better place for the creative mind than an “imaginary” place that actually becomes as real as what we create. This is so liberating! Let the mind go here, away from the Impossible. My imaginary creative place is Oceanic, with waves of new ideas rolling in rhythmically. This must be how God created the ocean, the land and us. And I happen to believe that God in me is still creating through me.
