BREAKDOWN (Read time 0:19)
I think sometimes it’s ok to let things fall apart. Let things go south. Let the whole project "breakdown" and collapse if necessary. It’s not always about “fix it in the mix.” In fact the true creative process is not about “fixing” anything! It’s about constantly reinventing, rewriting, redesigning and recreating until you reach that pinnacle moment when you KNOW your work is complete.
Breakdowns are too often misinterpreted as failure, “What’s wrong with me?” "What's wrong with them?" “What’s wrong with it?” But they're not. They're just part of the process. Truth is, breakthroughs are usually preceded by breakdowns, and if we squirm to avoid the breakdowns, we actually deprive ourselves of the real grit from which breakthroughs arise.

You can't polish a turd
Some plans are doomed to fail from the start. No amount of fixing will help. Attempting to make major fixes will cause the problems to become more complex and dysfunctional and will only postpone the inevitable breakdown. There are times when the best, or perhaps the only solution is to PUSH THE RESET BUTTON and start over as painful and difficult as it may be. If we are honest with ourselves, we will learn from our mistakes and move ahead. There is too much at stake...too much time and money hanging in the balance if we don't act now. A breakthrough is on the horizon. Push the rest button and stop trying to make a turd into something it is not. Appologies for the rant. I have a lot on my mind (AHA). Thanks

Breaking Through to a better light.
I agree with you 100% on this one.If the song don't fit,no need to have a fit ! Let it go and the answer isn't just blowing in the wind. It"ll arrive at your door step.Arguments, disagreements need not end in breaking off contact. They can bring about fresh attitudes and points of view. ,,,off to sleep and a fine good night to one and all.

Mystery
I was recently talking with the first place winner at an art show and mentioned that I hadn't figured out the system for success yet. Her words were " Why figure it out...enjoy the mystery." Getting stuck is not failure, it's an invitation to evolve. I am breaking out of my own boundaries. Wahoo.

Breakdowns in order to achieve breakthrough - I am looking forward to my breakthrough ...we have to constantly re-think, re-invent or stay stagnant. I concur Michael - thanks for reminding us that it is part of the process.

Failure and attachment
If we learn how to not *attach* to our past failures and allow them to define us today it's a lot easier to progress. Just recovering from the "breakdown" right now. It's also important to understand the difference between *fatal* failures and regular life stuff. Though the decisions that we make to better ourselves may not work out they are usually not *dangerous*- just frustrating. I can look back and say that my biggest fault has usually been a lack of self-confidence that has prevented me from making the bold actions necessary to make great leaps above and beyond *regular* employment. Finding people that can relate to the struggles of entreprenuers to communicate with on a regular basis can help, too

Creating is not fixing. Creating is manifesting something from nothing. “Fixing” is repairing something that already exists.

what's fixable?
I find myself always trying to "fix" everything. I need some wisdom and discernment in knowing what's fixable and what's not.

When I found my husband, my soulmate, I was able to reinterpret prior relationship "failures" as breakdowns leading to my "breakthru" relationship. It made me reinterpret my projects in life NOT as failures, as you say.
