When There's a Hole in Your Boat (0:9)

I would always go in a boat with a life jacket on and a dingy with a rope.Life has more options than sinking or bailing out of a hopeless situation. An artist must be realistic about all aspects of life.Live for what you believe in and proceed with a passion - yes Compromising your safety to the point of "drowning" is not using creative genius at all.

| Endue a...that a way..! |
Good morning Michael! For myself, when obstacles block momentum, it's okay to speak up and admit it, and then find a better way to do a much better job! This is what I am finding anyaways...the focus..is still the focus in a journey well travelled. :-) Have a super day! Rachel :-)

This is an allegory for life. Don't let setbacks get in the way of goals. The ultimate goal is to live a life of purpose and meaning. The hole in the boat is a metaphor for a life lesson. Take advantage of life lessons and move on to greater things. Maybe a cold dip in the water is just what I needed at that moment.

| Never stop |
If you're†committed†to growing, maintaining or saving your independent creative career, you've got to keep coming up with ways to keep the boat-a-float! Keep bailing until you reach the shore!†Stuff your shirt into the hole to slow down the sinking! Got a cell phone?†Poke another hole in the boat to let the water drain? Start swimming! Never stop inventing new ways to get where you want to go!

As CEO of my company, I accepted a "bailout" from another company---best thing I ever did!
